We live in the time of rapid scientific progress. Modern technologies are moving forward by leaps and bounds, and almost every new day is marked with new discoveries. We contribute to energy transformation and strive to make its results work for everyone. Innovations and digital solutions are the focus of Enel X, Enel global business line, represented in Russia by Enel X Rus. We help people to use modern technologies to transform energy into new opportunities. In other words, we transverse the future into the present.
E-mobility: green and promising.
Being among the most promising business areas with great development opportunities in our country, e-Mobility has an objective to introduce and promote electric transportation solutions. No doubt that the future belongs to electric transport: it is more sustainable for the environment and for the economy.
The first Enel X charging stations have been already installed in Russia. For example, people may use them in Chelyabinsk and in the Far East. Three fast charging stations are now installed in different areas of Chelyabinsk: near the hotel, the business center and the shopping center. One Enel X JuicePump station may charge two vehicles simultaneously. 30-40 minutes of charging provide energy for 150-200 km of the way. The chargers are compatible with all electric vehicles offered on the market and fully compliant with international standards. The opening ceremony was held on August 31. Enel X Rus was in charge of supply, commissioning and installation supervision, while IDGC of Urals installed the stations and connected them to the grid.
“Installation of fast charging stations in Chelyabinsk is a step towards the future for the region. The ecological situation is improving and the demand for EVs is growing in the Chelyabinsk region. We are pleased that together with IDGC of Urals and Enel Group the relevant infrastructure is appearing. And it is also crucial from the perspective of touristic attractiveness of the region. I am sure that in the future the first network of charging stations in Chelyabinsk will be augmented”
The symbolic regional event was also attended by Russian Minister of Energy Aleksandr Novak, Enel Country Manager in Russia Carlo Palasciano Villamagna, Director General of PJSC Rosseti Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of IDGC of Urals Sergey Dregval, and Head of the Skolkovo Foundation’s energy-efficient technologies cluster Oleg Dubnov.
Other ten charging stations of the same family were installed in Vladivostok, Artyom and Ussuriysk within the agreement between Enel X Rus and RusHydro.
“The launch of these electric vehicle charging stations in Primorskiy Kray is a new step in our effort to boost electric mobility in Russia. We are leveraging on the global expertise and extensive know-how of Enel X to bring the most advanced e-mobility technologies to the region and Russia as a whole, contributing to the transition towards clean and sustainable transport”
The acting Deputy Governor of Primorskiy Kray Elena Parkhomenko, Enel Country Manager in Russia Carlo Palasciano Villamagna, General Director of Enel X Rus Sergey Kiselev and General Director of RusHydro Nikolay Shulginov took part in the opening ceremony.
Being symbolic for the company and the regions, the electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects are gaining momentum.
Our smart EV charging solutions, from simple chargers to charging networks with automated load balance and turn-key corporate electric vehicle fleets, meet modern-day vital requirements and provide reliable and firm basis for development.
In a team of like-minded people
In order to provide the most efficient adoption of all these cutting-edge solutions in the country, Enel X Rus makes agreements with various state and private entities that share our objectives. For example, Skolkovo Foundation is one of them. In addition, within the Agreements made with other Russian regions, our company is considering issues related to creation of charging infrastructure and to coordinated studies of new opportunities.
