Enel Russia appoints new deputy general director - head of generation

Moscow, April 1st, 2016 — Enel Russia has appointed Oleg Kosmenyuk as its new Deputy General Director — Head of Generation in PJSC «Enel Russia». His candidacy was approved earlier by the company’s Board of Directors. In this position he will replace John Clark, who is moving to another position within the Enel Group.

Prior to this appointment, Mr Kosmenyuk was Power Plant Director at Reftinskaya GRES. Additionally, since 2013 he has held the position of Director of coal generation at Enel Russia.

Oleg Kosmenyuk has more than 24 years experience in the energy sector. He started to work in Enel Russia in 2011. Previously, Mr Kosmenyuk headed various operational departments at Ekibastuz GRES owned by AES Corporation in Kazakhstan. For two years he held the position of Regional Director for industrial safety in AES Corporation. Between 2008 and 2011, Mr. Kosmenyuk worked as General Director of the LLP «Maikuben West», coal mining company in Kazakhstan.

Mr Kosmenyuk has received several industrial and governmental awards from the authorities of Kazakhstan and Sverdlovsk region during his career.

Oleg Kosmenyuk was born in 1970 in Reftinskiy. In 1989 he graduated from Pavlodar College with a specialisation in electric equipment refitting. In 1998 he graduated from Kazakh National Technical University of Taraygyrov. Oleg’s native language is Russian, he also speaks English fluently.

Sergey Zamyatin has replaced Oleg Kosmenyuk as Director of Reftinskaya Power Plant.

Since 2012 Mr Zamyatin had held the position of Chief Engineer of 300 MW units at Reftinskaya GRES, where he started to work in 1998 right after graduating from the Ural State Technical University (now — Ural Federal University).

An Enel Group subsidiary, PJSC Enel Russia operates the following power plants: Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES, Sredneuralskaya GRES and Reftinskaya GRES. PJSC Enel Russia’s authorised capital is 35,371,898,370 roubles, which is divided into ordinary shares with a par value of 1 rouble. The Enel Investment Holding B.V. share in the company’s authorised capital is 56.43%, PFR Partners Fund I Limited’s share is 19.03%, Prosperity Capital Management Limited’s share is 8.23%, VTB Bank’s share is 3.87% and other minority shareholders’ share is 12.44%. PJSC Enel Russia shares are listed in Level 1 MICEX quotation list. The company was established in Yekaterinburg on October 27th, 2004 as OJSC OGK-5. On July 7th, 2009 by the resolution of Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting the company was renamed OJSC Enel OGK-5 and on August 8th, 2014 the Federal Tax Service registered the new version of the company’s charter with the name OJSC Enel Russia. On June 25th, 2015 the company changed its legal type and was renamed PJSC Enel Russia.
