The second level Specializing Master open to international students will contribute to the creation of solid skills in the design and automation of electrical systems, with the in-depth study of innovative technological solutions.
Initiatives such as Enel's Network Digital Twin® and other case studies on projects carried out on the distribution network and on innovations under development in the national and European context will be studied during the course, detailing both technical and economic aspects. The program includes theoretical lessons and experimental training in the laboratory with: 330 hours of lectures dedicated to the energy context, Smart Grid specificities and implementation, a technical focus on Health&Safety; 100 hours of laboratory work and; 210 hours of project work in Enel.
Applications for the Smart Grids second level Specializing Master can be submitted through January 6th, 2021.
The Specializing Master will be presented on July 27th with a webinar entitled “WHY DO GRIDS NEED TO BE SMART?” organized by the Specializing Master Course Committee, in which Professor Maurizio Delfanti, CEO of RSE spa, Professor Marco Merlo, Director of the Specializing Master, and Professor Alberto Berizzi, professor of Electric Power Systems will all participate from the Politecnico di Milano; Vincenzo Ranieri, Head of Infrastructures and Networks Italy, and Gianluca Sapienza, Head of the Smart Grids Unit of Infrastructures and Networks Italy of Enel will also be present.
