In 1995, Zhanna Sedova graduated with honors from Perm State University, majoring in Law. From 1995 to 2010, she was a private international law and foreign trade fundamentals lecturer in Perm State University. In 2001, she obtained a PhD degree in the Russian Presidential Academy of Public Administration with a thesis titled “International legal entity as a subject of international private law”. Since 2006, she has been an associate professor at the International Law Department of the Russian Academy of Justice.
She has been practicing law since 1993, having shifted to the power sector in 2003 (OJSC Permenergo, OJSC TGK-9, and OJSC OGK-4). Since 2009, she has been a judge of arbitration in a self-regulatory organization NP MOD Soyuzdorstroy.
Since 2010, Zhanna Sedova holds the office of Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs in PJSC Enel Russia.
